Bring your own infrastructure
Run pipelines on your own Docker host and store files in your own bucket. Jobs that run on your machines cost no compute credits at all — you pay for the platform, not for the hardware you already own. Choose per project: hosted or your own.
Your runners
Connect a remote Docker host; jobs route there automatically. One runner on Research, five on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise.

Keep inputs and outputs in your own S3 or Azure bucket. Available from Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are credits?
Credits are our unit of compute: 100 credits = $1. Each job consumes credits based on its CPU, memory and duration. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and you can follow your usage in the dashboard.
What is the difference between included and purchased credits?
Included credits come with your plan and reset every month; unused ones are not carried over. Purchased credits never expire and are only spent once your included credits run out.
Is there a free trial?
Research and Pro both start with a 14-day free trial and no card required. If the trial ends without a payment method, the organization moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted at that point, and files already stored keep the retention period they were created with.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual billing is charged once a year and saves up to 20%: Research at $24/month instead of $29 (about 17% off), Pro at $79 instead of $99 (20% off). Your included credits still reset every month either way.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes. Credit packs start at $10 for 1,000 credits and are on sale from the billing page, with discounts on larger packs (10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 credits). Pro and above can also turn on auto-recharge, capped by the spending limit you set.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.
What happens if I run out of credits?
New jobs are refused with a clear message and a link to upgrade; nothing is queued. Your included credits come back at the start of the next month, and in the meantime you can move to a larger plan or buy a credit pack. Jobs on your own runners consume no compute credits, so those keep going either way.
How does bring-your-own-infrastructure pricing work?
Jobs that run on your own runners cost no compute credits: you pay only your plan, which covers orchestration, queueing and the UI. Research includes 1 runner, Pro 5 and Enterprise as many as you need. The exception is marketplace pipelines, which always run on Marathoon's cloud.
I was a customer before September 2026. What changes for me?
Your token balance was converted to credits: divided by 7 and rounded up. A typical job now costs about 7 times fewer credits than it cost tokens, so it buys about the same amount of compute. On Research or Pro, you keep your current subscription price, and any feature or limit of your former plan that was more generous, for 12 months; every limit the new grid raises applies to you right away.
How does reselling work?
On Enterprise, you provision an organization per client on Research or Pro. Each client is billed to you at the plan's public price less 40% — $17.40 for Research, $59.40 for Pro — on one monthly invoice, with a minimum commitment of $300 a month. Clients inherit your branding and can sign in through your SSO.
